Last Game

Last night Lucas had his last t-ball game for the season.  We played at 5:45 and was a nice evening for a ball game.  Lucas is playing t-ball for the 1st time and he has done very good. He has been able to hit the ball at most games with out the use the “t”. Last night at  his last at bat he was able to hit the ball to the outfield. He was very surprised and so was his big brother Andy.  After the game was over the team had a nice surprise from their coach.  Coach Rick has been a great coach and we were lucky to be on his team, he made the entire team stand in line and presented them all with very pretty trophies. They usually get a trophy from the rec. league at the year end cook-out but the coach purchased these on his own and the team was thrilled. You could not have gotten bigger smiles if you had given them a million dollars.  They were very happy and loved showing them off to everyone.  They are so cute at this age and the little things mean alot!!!

Growing up!!!

It is hard for me to come to the reality that Andy is growing up. 

 Monday night we were outside playing and it was still pretty warm about 7:00 p.m and Andy had on a grey t-shirt. When we were finished and going inside Andy had VERY bad wet circles under his arms.  We went inside and  I was in the bathroom with them getting ready to take a shower and boy oh boy, when Andy walked past me the smell would have made flowers wilt!!!!

It was then I had to realize that Andy was growing into a young boy man and that we would need to take a trip to wal-mart for DEODORANT!!!!

It was something I knew would  come but it was still hard to believe that things are surely changing.  I told Andy that I would go and pick him up some on my lunch on Tuesday and that was not going to work for him, he told me that he wanted to pick it out so when Woody got home from work that night, Andy and I took  a mother and son trip to wal-mart at 10:00 at night for deodorant. That was quite and adventure, he had to smell every kind they had before he finally decided on “cool blast” , I personally think he just liked the name.

It was surely a dose of reality for me that my “Andy Man” is growning up!!!!!

It’s HOT!!!!!!

It is sooooo hooootttt here right now that it is miserable!!!!  There is not alot going on this weekend becuause of the heat, just trying to stay cool.  We did go to a swwimming pool birthday party on Saturday which was very nice. But it is supposed to be 98 degrees here today and can u believe Andy has a baseball game this afternnon at 5:45, it will be miserable for himand me and Lucas just setting watching the game.  Gatorade will surely be needed for everyone.

Not Much Happening!!!!!

Just thought I would post to let everyone know that everything is going good!!!! I have not had anything exiciting going on so not much to write about.  We are just busy as usual with baseball and t-ball but other than that just the same old same old.  Hope this post finds that you guys are well also.  I will hope to have something a little more to talk about next time!!!!

Vacation

Today is my last day at work for 5 days thats right I said 5 days. I will be back to work on Wednesday the 28th.

We will be very busy while I am off with ball games and homecoming and revival at church and  Woody and I  will also be celebrating our 11th Wedding Anniversary!!!!

Last Week Of School

I am not sure who is more exicted about the last week of school, me or the boys.  I can hardly wait for a night of only baseball games and not trying to rush and finish homwork as well.  You can basically say they are done with school because his teacher has already sent all of Andy’s books home and so I can’t imagine what she has planned for this week without any textbooks.  They have a full day today, tom. and Wednesday and 1/2 day Thursday and they will be only having awards day on Friday and then they are allowed to leave. 

They will both be attending summer day camp at the school so their summer is not totally free but at least they will get a short break.

I have taken somedays off work and I will be having a 5 day weekend coming up!!!!yeeepeeee

Nothing special planned just well  needed  deserved time off!!!!!

Deal of the Century!!!!!

I just had to post and tell you guys about the great deal I got today on my lunch hour. 

 Let me set this up, Woody is having a company picnic tomorrow and this will be the 1st time I have ever met anybody that he works with.  I have been thinking for a couple days what the boys will wear and I decided that I needed  wanted something new to wear.  I did not want to spent alot of money so I thought I could find a nice summer top at Wal Mart.  I found a cute denim shirt that I could wear with a pair of capris I had at home and it would look nice, the price tag said  $14.98 which was not bad for this shirt. I decided to go ahead and get it.  To my surprise when the shirt rang up, can u believe that it had been marked down to  $3.50 yes I said $3.50.  I liked the shirt even better then…. Man it was just meant for me to have that shirt.!!!!!!
